Statistical Analysis of Growth and Installation Cost of Sprinkler Irrigation System in Bikaner District of Rajasthan, India

Aims: The aim of this study is to assess the growth and economic feasibility sprinkler irrigation systems in water-stressed regions, specifically Rajasthan India, promote sustainable agriculture mitigate water scarcity challenges.
 Study Design: Mixed-Methods design.
 Methodology: analyzes time series data from 2005 2022 estimate Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for area under system India. This research also investigates Bikaner district Rajasthan, where resources are limited. SPSS 16.0 was used perform statistical analysis.
 Results: findings reveal a significant sprinkler-irrigated areas both regions. CAGR values 27.9 per cent 18.6 highlighting growing acceptance importance system. 2-inch emerges as most feasible choice, with short payback period, high net present worth, internal rate return, benefit-cost ratio.
 Conclusion: underscores significance technologies enhancing water-use efficiency, agricultural productivity, rural livelihoods. Policy recommendations provided adoption water-efficient practices combating achieving agriculture.
